| Abstract: | 2024年9月，東京都練馬区にある武蔵学園の構内において，仔を咥えたハクビシン成獣が日中に目撃された。多数の生徒や教職員がこの様子を目撃し，写真や動画による記録が得られた。夜行性のハクビシンの日中の行動の知見は少なく，本報告ではこの目撃事例の詳細と，構内で日中に観察されたハクビシンの行動を紹介する。それらに加え2016年から2025年初旬の学内建物への侵入および駆除の記録をまとめた。
In September 2024, a masked palm civet (Paguma larvata) carrying a juvenile in its mouth was observed in the daytime on the campus of Musashi Academy Campus in Nerima Ward, Tokyo. Multiple students and faculty members witnessed the event, and photo and video evidence was collected. This report documents the details of that sighting as well as related observations of civet behavior on campus. In addition, it summarizes the occurrence and removal of civets found inside campus buildings from 2016 to 2025, along with camera-trap recordings and visual sightings. |
